Diet Tied To Survival In Breast Cancer Patients
She found that, "Consumption of a diet high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and
poultry, and low in red meat and refined foods may positively influence
a woman's overall health and prevent other cancers and chronic
diseases."
Michio Kushi; T.
Colin Campbell, Ph.D., Dr. Neal Barnard and so many others have been putting this kind of info
out there (actually, minus the meat) for years. It's SO gratifying to see this additional research
being done and to see it being reported in the "mainstream" press.

I've been gathering materials on macrobiotics for my mother in law (she's been recently diagnosed with Emphysema and lung cancer). I'm hopeful it will help her through the chemo.

Dear Lenni,
If she is interested that would be great. I think of you when I used your nice wash clothes!

Having lost both my mother and grandmother to breast cancer, and my sister being an 11-year survivor, you'd think I'd follow this more faithfully. Why I don't is beyond me (thanks for posting the advice!).
Thank you for your kind words at my blog...I responded to you there but thought I'd visit to say "hey" :). (You found me from Heart Choices).
Have a great day!

Brilliant. Thanks for reference. The Gerson diet people would also add: make your ingredients organic to reduce the toxic overload from pesticide and fungicide residues...
